Owner & Therapist

Healing can be both incredibly painful and incredibly liberating. Handling trauma and life's challenges alone can be overwhelming, fostering feelings of isolation. I am dedicated to reminding my clients that they are not alone in their therapeutic pursuit. No one should have to heal alone. My focus is on helping those who have experienced trauma, sexual abuse, religious trauma, and identify as LGBTQ, providing them with a compassionate space to be heard. You are worthy of healing and self-compassion

My areas of expertise are with clients who have experienced trauma; including sexual assault, religious trauma, and familial trauma. I have completed trainings in emotionally focused therapy and sex-positive counseling. I also work with members of the LGBTQIA+ population and members of the kink community.

Each therapeutic journey is unique. I aim to empower clients to embrace their resilience and expertise in their own narratives. I'm eager to understand and offer guidance as we navigate your path to healing together.

Therapist

We often face unexpected challenges in life. We may have lost someone we love, experienced a trauma we never expected, or even the challenge of balancing life’s daily struggles. My aim is to provide support to those who are navigating through all those unexpected challenges. I am passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who have experienced trauma, grief, anxiety, and behavioral issues. My goal is always to create a non-judgmental space where clients feel they can meet their full potential. I believe everyone’s story is unique, and you are the expert of your own story.

My unique and authentic approach to therapy stems from being the expert of my own experience and author of my own story. My love for therapy began as an undergrad when I lost my roommate to gun violence. Therapy helped me process through the grief and trauma of losing my friend. Through my own experiences of grief, trauma, depression, and discrimination, I became a therapist to help those who have had experiences like mine.

I want to both challenge and empower my clients to think and dig deep, beyond the surface of their challenges. I want to aid my clients in finding clarity and process through their experiences. I believe therapy is a collaborative effort that can evolve into a trusting, therapeutic relationship; resulting in healthier coping skills, effective healing, and enhanced ability to overcome adversity.
